Optional to add one or more of the following:
Chopped Red Pepper
Chopped Kalamata Olives
Fresh Roasted Garlic
Don't have any Tahini on hand? Don't worry, substitute Peanut Butter or you can make this Recipe without either. It's still yum yum good!!!!
1 can of Garbanzo Beans
1/4 Cup Lemon Juice
1/4 Cup Tahini
2 Tbsp Oil
3 Tbsp Sebastiano Gourmet Seasoning
*We recommend a combination of Italian Garlic & Spicy Sicilian or our Gluten Free Flavor, Garlic Lovers.
Combine the Lemon Juice and Tahini in a food processer and cream together. Add the Oil and seasoning to the mixture and blend. Drain and rinse the Beans. Add half the can and blend for one minute, than add the remaining half and blend again 1 or 2 minutes until nice and smooth.
If mixture is to thick, add a little more liquid. i.e. Olive Oil, water, Olive Juice, Bean Juice.
(1-2 additional Tbsp should be sufficient.)
Salt and Pepper to Taste, if desired.
When serving, make a little indentation in the top to hold a little Olive Oil and spinkle with Paprika.
Great with fresh vegetables or Pita Bread.
