Just look at these pictures at be inspired.  You don't need a Recipe to make a great salad.  Pick a few favorite Salad Dressings.  Don't do the same one every night, because then your salads will become boring.  You can make a homemade Dressing;

but really, there are a lot of good ones on the Market.  Don't feel guilty by using one of them.


PIck out the Greens. Remember, Iceburg Lettuce has no nutritional value; but Romaine, Spinach, Escarole, & Kale does.  

Same ingredients make a great Pasta Salad.  Cook the pasta to Al Dente and Chill.  Then, mix the ingredients.

Canned Vegetables (Beans, Corn, Beets) or Cooked Vegetables (Green Beans) or Raw Vegetables (Tomatoes, Peppers)

I love to have some crunch in my salad:  Celery, Nuts, Grated Carrots, Onion, Croutons.

My son doesn't like any fruit, but I do:  Cranberries, Strawberries, Raisins, Dried Fruit

Make it the meal:  Add Grilled Salmon, Fish Filet, Chicken, Shrimp, etc.
